I rented a car from Ace two days ago when I landed at Miami. Yesterday, 3 fraudulent charges appeared on my credit card, one for over $150 for GETT, a taxi app for a company based in NYC; and two charges each for $25 for LYFT, another taxi app.
I have never used a taxi app, and I have never before had any issue with my debit card. I am absolutely convinced that an ACE employee is responsible for the theft. Without a doubt, this is my worst experience with a car rental company.
GETT has offered to refund the charge once it can confer with my bank. As for LYFT, it does not list a telephone number. I had to submit a claim online, the only available option for now.
